In July, ProFootballFocus released their 2023 Preseason All-ACC Football teams, and NC State had 4 players represented. For perspective, last year the Wolfpack had 7 players on PFF’s Preseason teams, and ended up with 7 on their All-ACC teams at seasons end.
This year, Wolfpack Cornerback Aydan White was named to PFF’s Preseason All-ACC 2nd Team, and Linebacker Payton Wilson, Cornerback Shyheim Battle and Place Kicker Brayden Narveson were named to the 3rd Team.
White finished the 2022 season on the 1st Team. Battle was named to PFF’s Preseason 2nd Team last season. Offensive Lineman Dylan McMahon finished last season on PFF’s 3rd Team, though he isn’t on the Preseason team this year.
