Last night two former NC State basketball players matched up against one another in the NBA.
CJ Williams’ Los Angeles Clippers beat TJ Warren’s Phoenix Suns 108-95.
Williams started his 3rd game of the season, and his second straight. He played a career high of 28 minutes and 52 seconds, and scored a career high of 12 points.
Warren struggled shooting (9-24), but led the Suns in scoring in Devin Booker’s absence, with 22 points. Warren actually filled the box score more than normal, notching a double-double with his 10 rebounds, and also added 5 assists.
