Call it optimism or being delirious from the cold, but the Pack might have a good chance at beating Duke today in PNC. First off, NC State has a tendency to upset Duke at home.
Who could forget the epic upset in Raleigh last year when we beat the No.2 Blue Devils or the upset in 2013 when they were No.1. Last year’s win marked the Pack’s 31st time in school history that NC State has defeated a ranked Duke team.
Duke hasn’t been itself lately, and fortunately the Pack has’t either. NC State looked like a different solid team against Pitt on Wednesday and Duke is coming off a 3 game ACC losing streak.
