Tom Dundon’s dream of the Carolina Hurricane’s playing an outdoor game in NC State’s Carter-Finley Stadium is one step closer to becoming a reality.
NHL commissioner Gary Bettman was in Raleigh yesterday, and took a walking tour the Wolfpack’s football stadium.

The orange cones were set up on the field prior to Bettman’s arrival to help give him an image of what a hockey rink would look like on the green grass.
