NC State forward DJ Burns Jr. has turned heads during the team's run to the Final Four, so much so that some could see him be successful in another sport.
An NFL executive discussed the possibility of Burns making the transition to football with Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team and said he has the intangibles that could make it worth considering ahead of the 2024 NFL draft.
"The scout in me sees stuff with him when you watch him play basketball that makes you think, 'Wow he would be an interesting project if he wanted to try football,'" the exec said.
