The NCAA is introducing the Coach’s Challenge in Men’s Basketball next season.

Each coach will be granted one challenge per game. They will be able to challenge out-of-bounds calls, basket interference/goaltending, and whether a secondary defender was in the restricted-area arc.

In order to use a challenge, a coach must have at least one timeout remaining.

If the challenge is successful, the team will be granted another challenge, which can be used at any point for the remainder of the game, including overtime.

If the challenge is unsuccessful, the team will lose a timeout and will not be allowed to challenge another call for the rest of the game.
