On Monday we learned that there is a coronavirus cluster within the NC State athletics department—27 positive cases, to be exact, though not all of them are athletes. Today, Joe Giglio is reporting what probably everybody figured, which is that there are football players among those positive cases.
Anybody who has been in contact with a player that tested positive is required by current ACC guidelines to quarantine for 14 days, which is a bit of a problem for the Wolfpack football program given that its opener at Virginia Tech is scheduled for 18 days from now.
