Coming into the 2017 season, all of the hype was about NC State’s defense, and how they would be one of the best units in the country. On the other side of the ball, there honestly wasn’t much talk about the Wolfpack Offense. Sure, everyone thought Jaylen Samuels would shine, and Ryan Finley was pretty good the year before. With that being said, there were questions about the running back position after the exodus of Matt Dayes, and the quality of depth behind Kelvin Harmon and Stephen Louis at the wide receiver position.
Seven games through the 2017 season, a majority of the talk still tends to be about NC State’s impressive defense, and I don’t get it.
