NC State Graduate Senior Kiara Leslie was just selected by the Washington Mystics with the 10th overall pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft.
Leslie earned 1st Team All-ACC honors (21st Wolfpack player to do so), and became only the 5th player in program history to earn AP All-American Honorable Mention.
She averaged 15.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game this season for the Wolfpack.
Leslie becomes the 16th NC State player to be drafted in the WNBA, and only the 4th 1st round pick. As the 10th overall pick, she ties Markeisha Gatling as the highest player drafted in school history.
