On October 15th Guard Trey McGowens reclassified from the 2018 class to the 2019 class, and when he did, colleges took notice including NC State.
“So I can have another year to develop because I don’t turn 18 until May so I’m fairly young for the 2018 class and I didn’t really have any high majors and that’s where I want to go play, at the highest level,” he said. “When I reclassified I picked up Kansas State, NC State, Clemson, and a couple other schools.”(247)
McGowens took an unofficial visit to NC State on November 4th, and walked away with an offer from the Wolfpack coaching staff.
