NC State True Freshman Wide Receiver Kevin Concepcion has been named the ACC Rookie of the Year and the Offensive Rookie of the Year. Concepcion is the 10th NC State player to earn Rookie of the Year honors, joining RB Ted Brown, RB Joe McIntosh, DT Ray Agnew, S Jesse Campbell, RB Ray Robinson, WR Koren Robinson, QB Philip Rivers, RB T.A. McClendon, QB Russell Wilson.
Concepcion put together a freshman season for the record books. The wideout worked his way into the ACC Freshman record books, currently ranking second in touchdown receptions (10), fourth in receptions (64), and 10th in receiving yards (767).
