D1Baseball released their Midseason All-American teams last Wednesday, with NC State Junior Starting Pitcher Dominic Fritton making the 2nd Team.
Fritton had earned his honor prior to his last start against Virginia on the previous Friday, during which he surrendered 5 earned runs in 5.2 innings, raising his ERA to 2.85. Currently, he holds a 4-3 record, having struck out 62 batters in 47.1 innings this year.
This isn’t the first time Fritton has received All-American honors from D1Baseball; he was named a Freshman All-American back in 2023 after finishing the season with a 3.59 ERA and 75 strikeouts over 62.
