NC State will host East Carolina in the season opener at Carter-Finley Stadium on August 28th at 7 p.m.
Wolfpack Head Coach Dave Doeren is still embarrassed by the fiasco that unfolded at the end of the Military Bowl against the Pirates last season.
ECU defeated NC State 26–21 in the bowl game, and a brawl broke out as time expired.
“I don’t want to just win that game. I want to beat the s*** out of that team. Not because of them but because of how we played. I told our team in the locker room, that’s the most embarrassed I’ve ever been as a coach — not because we lost but because of how we behaved at the end of it.
