Brett McMurphy of ON3 released his 2025 College Football Head Coach Golf Handicap Rankings, and NC Stead Head Football Coach Dave Doeren ranks 12th, with a 11.3 handicap, making him the best golfer out of all the ACC Coaches.
Doeren’s former Defensive Coordinator Tony Gibson, the new Head Coach at Marshall is ranked 1 spot higher, with a handicap of 11.2.
The only other ACC Coach in the Top-22 is UNC’s Bill Belichick, who boasts a handicap of 12.5.
