The 15 semifinalists for the 2025 College Football Comeback Player of the Year Award were announced on Wednesday, and Redshirt Senior NC State Linebacker Caden Fordham made the cut.
In 2024, Fordham was leading the ACC in tackles before suffering a season ending knee injury heading into the Wolfpack’s 6th game of the season.
Fordham ended the regular season as the ACC’s leading tackler, with 130 tackles. The fact that he leads all Power 4 Linebackers in tackles, and ranks 5th in all of college football, makes him a top tier candidate for the Comeback Player of the Year Award.
