NC State’s Braxton Beverly Hires an Attorney

If the NCAA thought getting rid of NC State and Braxton Beverly would be easy, they were wrong. Beverly has lawyered up folks.

Braxton Beverly has retained attorney Scott Tompsett in his pursuit to gain a waiver for immediate eligibility. NC State has submitted for reconsideration.

Tompsett isn’t new to amateurism cases, and even has experience with helping NC State players find eligibility.

Scott’s successful amateurism cases include UConn men’s basketball student-athlete Ryan Boatright, Texas A&M football student-athlete Johnny Manziel and North Carolina State men’s basketball student-athlete Ted Kapita.
