In short, while State players gave their names and birthdates during check-in, the Managing Director of Championships just started filming them. He then denied doing so until Murr and company approached him the FOLLOWING day. A normal person would have just never filmed in the first place. A sneaky person would have filmed and then saved out and deleted.
