The 2025-26 Women’s College Basketball Preseason AP Poll is out, and NC State will start the season ranked 9th nationally. This marks the 5th time in 6 years that the Wolfpack has started the season ranked in the Top-10.
Ironically, NC State finished last season ranked 9th in the Final AP Poll, marking the 6th Top-10 finish since Wes Moore took the reins in 2013.
Over the past 7 seasons, the Wolfpack has the 2nd most Top-10 finishes in the AP Poll, trailing only UCONN.
