North Carolina governor Roy Cooper announced Tuesday that he will ease the restrictions on large outdoor gatherings beginning in October, and stadium venues with more than 10,000 seats will be allowed to fill to 7 percent capacity.
For NC State, that means a smidge over 4,000 fans can attend the Wolfpack’s next game at Carter-Finley, which comes against Duke on Oct. 17. Athletics director Boo Corrigan released a statement on the matter:
