There’s some weird things you remember in recruiting sometimes, and I remember NC State offering late this quarterback named Jakobi Meyers, who had been committed to Kent State. Kid was super talented. He never ended up being a quarterback, but he found his niche. Or so I’ve heard.
It’s not easy to overstate how much Jakobi Meyers has meant to the resurgence here; he’s been a significant and necessary part of NC State’s resurgent passing game, capable of huge games. Jakobi is going pro and we’re gonna miss him:
“I came to NC State a kid chasing two dreams,” said Meyers, who earned his degree in sports management with a minor in business administration last month.
