Sheesh, man, I don’t know what I expected from this weekend but I did not expect this. NC State dropped both games of a doubleheader against Boston College on Sunday, giving the Eagles a three-game series sweep. NC State scored a grand total of one run on Sunday, which is bad. We can probably stick a fork in this season now.
After a shoddy effort Saturday that saw the Eagles score eight runs in one game, which is very impressive by BC baseball standards, the universe righted itself on Sunday, as the Eagles managed a total of three runs across two games.
