Not much of note emerged from media days this week, but we did learn from Dave Doeren that NC State has submitted a waiver to the NCAA on behalf of transfer tight end Cary Angeline in order to clarify his eligibility status.
Angeline is a unique case by transfer standards because he dressed for three games with USC last season before opting to leave that program. He did not play in the third game, which is the crux of the matter—he will definitely be on the field for NC State this fall, but the question is whether he’ll have to sit the first two games or the first three.
