RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State volleyball team saw its 12-match home winning streak end Sunday afternoon, as Washington State earned a 3-1 victory inside Reynolds Coliseum. The Wolfpack’s last home loss was a full calendar year ago when the squad fell to No. 8 Kansas on Aug. 26, 2017.
The Cougars are receiving 47 votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top-25 Poll and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season.
NC State concludes the weekend 1-1 thanks to its win against VCU in the season opener, while WSU was 2-0 in its matches.
