When Devon Daniels left Utah at the end of March, he said he was looking for a “fresh start.”
That might be N.C. State for Daniels. The 6-5, 200-pound guard will visit the campus on Monday. The versatile player from Battle Creek, Mich., averaged 9.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists as a freshman last season.
Under NCAA rules, he would have to sit out the 2017-18 season but would have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
Daniels started 26 games for the Utes last season and had a season-high 24 points in an late January home win over Washington.
