After going 2-0 in Week 1, NC State’s Men’s Basketball team stayed put at #26 in the Week 2 AP Poll, one spot outside of the Top-25.
Look, I get it. Kansas, who is 25th, wasn’t going to fall out of the Top-25 after losing to a ranked UNC team. Creighton and Wisconsin, who stayed put at #23 and #24 respectively, had convincing wins agains their opponents. But, NC State looked every bit like a Top-25 team in Week 1.
Here’s what I expect. If NC State convincingly beats UNCG this week, teams in the Top-25 will be lose and be exposed this week, and the Wolfpack will crack the Top-25 in the Week 3 poll next week.
