Georgia State scored first Saturday afternoon, which I guess is a pattern we have to deal with, but that did not matter at all in the grand scheme, as NC State ran away with a 41-7 win. Ryan Finley accounted for 370 yards passing and two scores through the air.
NC State did not play quickly in the heat of another noon game in September, but also it did not have to, because the Panthers were not up to that challenge. It could have been worse, but State wasn’t too bothered by the elements, even with Jakobi Meyers out with an ankle injury.
