NC State released its depth chart Monday afternoon, and while there are no significant surprises—we knew there wouldn’t be—there are certainly some interesting things to be taken from the two-deep as it currently stands.
On offense, Jakobi Myers is listed as the starter at the slot wide receiver position ahead of Gavin Locklear, which is an encouraging sign for the ex-QB’s development. Myers played in all 13 games last season but did not have more than three catches in any single game.
True freshman Emeka Emezie is behind Stephen Louis but ahead of Maurice Trowell, so it appears he’ll have the opportunity to make an early impact.
