Well, earlier in the week, Wolfpack Head Coach said that Quarterback Devin Leary wouldn’t require surgery, but NC State just released via their Twitter account that further imaging revealed that surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle would be the best course of action. As a result, the season is over for the Redshirt Junior Quarterback who was the ACC Preseason Player of the Year.
The good news, it was a torn pec instead of a torn shoulder. I know that might not seem like good news, but the fact Leary didn’t tear his throwing shoulder is good news for his future.
