Madison Hayes got NC State rolling early Friday afternoon, and for the second time in as many days, the Wolfpack clobbered a power-conference opponent. State once again put together an excellent first half, and after the game was tied at 10 four minutes in, the Pack outscored Cincinnati 40-12 over the next 16 minutes.
The big halftime margin gave Wes Moore another opportunity to spread the minutes around and let his freshmen spend quite a bit of time on the floor together; the result was a sloppier second half offensively, but it ain’t like the Bearcats were faring any better themselves.
