NC State’s 2018 recruiting class currently ranks 22nd in the 247Sports Composite, which makes it the highest-ranked class of the Dave Doeren era. The Wolfpack’s classes have ranged from the high 50s to higher 30s during Doeren’s tenure, with the previous high being 31st.
The 2018 recruiting cycle won’t finish until February, so there is still potential for shuffling in the rankings, but there is a pretty good chance this ends up being Doeren’s best class at NC State, at least by ranking. Going by results, it will be tough to top the class that just graduated. The potential is there, though.
