NC State got some good news at the end of an otherwise rough recruiting week when offensive lineman Austin Blaske committed to the Wolfpack on Saturday. Blaske just recently took a visit to Raleigh.
Blaske plays for South Effingham High School (effing HAM! is not a bad exclamation when things go sideways; gonna have to remember that one) in Guyton, Georgia. NC State now has three commitments from that state, one shy of its total from North Carolina.
While Blaske is a three-star recruit in the composite rankings—those are an average of all the major recruiting services—he is a four-star prospect in 247Sports’ rankings.
