I was surprised by the initial line for the NC State-Syracuse game, but I guess after the Wolfpack looked so awful this past weekend, it makes sense. The Orange opened as 1.5-point favorites on Sunday, though it’s now a pick ‘em, so the early money must have been tilted toward the Wolfpack.
The Orange are undefeated at home this season, with a blowout win early over Florida State and more recently a double-overtime win over North Carolina. It’s hard to figure what you’ll see from Syracuse in any given week since its defense is all over the place, but this team definitely knows how to score—it’s been held under 30 points once in seven games.
