The 247Sports Composite rates Barnes as a 5-Star prospect, the #25 overall player in the 2027 recruiting class, the #2 Shooting Guard and the #5 player in the state of Florida. Rivals ranks him as the #13 Point Guard in the 2027 recruiting class.
He also holds offers from Miami, Mississippi St., FSU, Ole Miss, Kansas, Indiana and others.
Barnes plays for The Academy of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida.
