NC State Men’s Soccer is Headed to the Final Four for the 1st Time Since 1990

NC State’s (15-2-4) Men’s Soccer team is headed back to the Final Four for the 1st time since 1990 after defeating Georgetown (14-4-4) 3-2 up in Washington D.C. this afternoon.

The first half was a goal fest, while no goals were scored in the second half.

The #15 seed Wolfpack were the first to put a goal in the net at the 5:07 mark, with Senior Taig Healy scoring off of a throw-in. Redshirt Junior Isaac Heffess threw it in, Junior Donavan Phillip headed it, and Healy secured the ball of of his chest, kicking it in with his left foot.
