NC State Men’s Soccer team played their 1st of two exhibition games this past Sunday night, defeating #6 UNC 2-1 in Chapel Hill.
The match was nearly scoreless heading into the third period, but the Pack scored twice in the final 8 minutes of the second period.
Junior David Norris scored off a corner kick in the 52nd minute, and Junior David Loera scored off a penalty kick two minutes later. Loera was an All-ACC selection as a Sophomore.
The Tar Heels only goal came on a penalty kick with 4 minutes to go in the contest.
