NC State will be debuting the “Black Howl” uniforms this Thursday night against Louisville. We first saw these back in June, the evergreen month of hope.
Now we’re starting to get some closer looks of the full ensemble. The uniform was also featured on ESPN.
Black or not, those Tuffy helmets better not go anywhere.
It’s especially cool to be featured on TV like this. Ultimately yes it’s just a uniform, but things like this can be seen by a lot of eyeballs (read: recruits), so doing something flashy to garner attention is a positive.
