Groves never played a snap for the Wolfpack in two years in Raleigh.
He was a 4-star prospect in NC State’s 2024 recruiting class, who flipped his commitment from Kentucky two years ago this month. Purdue was also in his Top-3.
Groves was one of the highest ranked players to commit to NC State in the recruiting database era. It’s not every day a Top-100 player commits to run with the Wolfpack.
