The College Football Playoff Top-25 was just released, and NC State moved up three spots, landing at #19 after defeating UNC 39-20 this past Saturday night.
Louisville fell spots to #14 after losing to Kentucky this past weekend in a rivalry game. There was a chance that if Louisville took a dramatic fall after falling to the Wildcats, and got destroyed by FSU in the ACC Championship game this Saturday, NC State could possibly finish higher in the final CFP rankings, securing a trip to the Orange Bowl.
