After a week off, NC State is back in both major human polls, landing at No. 22 in the AP and the Coaches. State had dropped out this past week after its loss to Syracuse, which was the Pack’s second in a row.
None of this matters, mind you, but it is always funny how the human polls serve as terrible power ratings: winning streaks are god, and little else matters. So NC State is five spots behind Boston College in the AP Poll this week and eight spots behind the Eagles in the Coaches Poll.
