NC State gave up 14 3-pointers against BYU on Friday night. The Cougars shot 41% from long rage and that barrage was a big reason NC State’s lead slipped in the 2nd half. In fact, BYU shot about 70% from the floor and 60% from 3pt range in the 2nd half, which I don’t think I’ve ever seen before.
That said, there was a lot of talk about NC State not defending the 3, so we went back and took a look. Some were actually well-defended, others not so much.
