NC State picked up its 17th commitment of the 2021 recruiting class on Saturday afternoon, and this one is a big one. 4-star linebacker, NC native, and national top 100 (depending on what service you use) player Jordan Poole chose the Wolfpack over an offer sheet that included Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Florida State, and others.
Poole had been a long-time target for Dave Doeren, dating back to before the West Stanly High School star climbed all the way up into the 247sports top 100. He becomes the third 4-star prospect to select the Pack, and others are still in play.
