NC State Football Recruiting Update – September 12, 2019
Recent Commitment: 3* LB Devon Betty committed to State while on his official visit for the Western Carolina game. Betty is being recruited to play the new BUC (outside linebacker) position in the new 3-3-5 defensive scheme. Betty was injured during part of his junior season, which cut into some of his production, and probably limited him from explosive recruitment, but he still has a very, very high ceiling. Betty moved from Miramar HS to St. Thomas Aquinas after last season, and being around more marquee talent and better coaching will help him to arrive in Raleigh in great shape.
