It’s been a good couple of months for Dave Doeren and his staff on the recruiting trail. On Friday, they picked up a verbal commitment from Derrick Eason, a consensus three-star defensive lineman from Norfolk, Virginia.

Eason is a top-30 player in Virginia who holds offers from Maryland, Virginia Tech, UNC, Wake Forest, Syracuse, and Rutgers, among plenty of others. He’s the third defensive end prospect to join the Wolfpack’s 2018 recruiting class.
