After much speculation and discussion, the NC State Board of Trustees approved an extension for head football coach, Dave Doeren, through 2025.
“NC State football continues to have significant momentum under Dave’s leadership and this new agreement further reflects our commitment to the direction of our program” said Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan.
Since taking the helm in the 2013 season, State has had winning seasons in 6 of 8. While setting a school record in a single-season for ACC wins with 7 last year, Doeren still holds a sub .500 record (28-38) within the ACC.
