NC State Crushes Furman 49-16

It isn’t shocking, but the NC State defense got off to a slow start, and allowed Furman to make this a two-possession game at the half, 28-13. They then proceeded to wake up and only allow 3 more points to go upon the scoreboard the rest of the contest, with the Wolfpack trouncing the Paladins 49-16.

After Furman Quarterback P.J. Blazejowski connected with Wide Receiver Andy Schumpert for a 71-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter, the Wolfpack scored 28 unanswered points, collecting touchdowns on 4 consecutive drives.

NC State’s Swiss Army knife Jaylen Samuels tied a career high, rushing for 3 touchdowns in the first half.
