Matt Willadsen was the story of this game, tossing a complete game, 2-hit shutout. It was his first complete game of his Wolfpack career. The two hits by Boston College hitters came via an infield single in the 1st inning - a play that could have relatively easily been rule an error - and a 9th inning bloop single that landed on the line in right field.
