Well hot dang, look at the NC State baseball team showing life and taking care of business. The Wolfpack scored 14 runs on 16 hits Sunday afternoon to complete a very necessary three-game sweep of Virginia Tech. NC State improved to 25-20 (11-13) with the 14-2 victory.
The top of the order set the tone for the Wolfpack, accounting for nine hits and 10 runs scored, led by Josh McLain, who went 5-for-6 and scored four times. Despite a o-fer at the plate, Joe Dunand still drove in three runs from the cleanup spot, and he also walked three times.
