2019 4-Star NC State Defensive Tackle commit CJ Clark’s (6’3″/308) senior season came to an end sooner than he would have wished, but what he was able to accomplish in 9 games was very impressive.
Clark tore his labrum, ending his season after 9 games. He will have surgery, and is expected to take 3-6 months to recover. Clark will be an early enrollee and get to do his rehab in Raleigh beginning in January. (247)
In 9 games at North Stanly this year, Clark had 83 tackles and 6 sacks.
Clark committed to NC State on June 18th, and is the 2nd highest rated player in the Wolfpack’s 2019 recruiting class according to 247Sports, who ranks the class 25th nationally.
