NC State coaches were in attendance for 5-Star 2026 Point Guard Deron Rippey Jr.’s season opener on Wednesday night. The #1 player in the state of New Jersey had 21 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds and 4 steals in Blair’s 118-61 win over Great Barrington Academy.

On Monday, Rippey Jr. included NC State in his Top-5 schools, along with Tennessee, Duke, Miami and Texas.
