The NC State Club Hockey Team (27-0) is heading to the Division II Nationals next week, becoming the ACCHL (Atlantic Coast Collegiate Hockey League) team EVER to do so.
Back on February 19th, the Wolfpack won the ACCHL Championship, defeating St. Joseph’s, Wake Forest and Virginia in the Tournament.
NC State then beat Rider and Liberty in Regionals to advance to Nationals 2 weeks ago.
Next week the Wolfpack will kick off Pool Play (Pool A) on Friday against Massachusetts.
As a Club Team, they have to raise their own funds, and the estimated costs of going to Nationals is $35k.
